Airalo or Holafly: which Europe package fits your trip?
For the Europe examples checked here, Airalo lists the lower USD total at both matched durations; Holafly lists a separate daily sharing allowance. Price alone does not establish better coverage or service. Decide whether you need phone data or sustained laptop sharing, then confirm the exact country list and package terms. This comparison covers Europe examples, not every destination offered by either brand.

Unlimited data still has conditions
Airalo documents a default 3 GB high-speed threshold per 24 hours, then 1 Mbps, with package exceptions. Holafly warns of operator fair-use slowdowns; a numeric high-speed threshold was not verified here. These terms are provider descriptions, not measured speeds. Both need a package check before heavy video or work use.

Choose by the work your connection must do
| Need | Decision |
|---|---|
| Maps and messaging | Check country inclusion and an allowance that fits your measured usage. A fixed-data option may also fit. |
| Laptop work | Check the separate hotspot limit and acceptable speed after fair use. |
| 14-day holiday | The 15-day examples provide a matched comparison; check the start and expiry rules. |
| Calls or verification texts | Resolve the number and SMS requirements before comparing data prices. |
Why might one quote cost more?
Differences in duration, allowance type, promotions, currency and included services can change the total. Match those inputs before comparing quotes. A higher price does not prove stronger signal, and our snapshots do not explain either provider's business costs. We have not checked taxes or completed checkout.
What this comparison can establish
Official package listings and policy documents support the fields shown, checked October 23, 2026. We have not tested setup ease, response times, radio coverage or real-world speeds. If either package does not cover your complete itinerary, it is not an equivalent option even when the duration matches.
